On July 31st, 2023, the PRIMA (Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area) Project was introduced to the staff of MAREM, the Republic of Turkey’s Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry’s Fruit Research Institute. The event highlighted PRIMA’s goals of fostering sustainable water management, farming systems, and agri-food value chains. Presentations and discussions provided MAREM staff with insights into the project’s objectives and potential collaborative opportunities. This introduction marks a significant step towards advancing agricultural research and innovation in Turkey, paving the way for future joint ventures and sustainable development in the region.
