On April 7th and 8th, 2025, Emilio Guerrieri, the coordinator of the ASTER project, visited the Instituto Valenciano de Investigaciones Agrarias (IVIA) in Spain. During his visit, he was welcomed by Alberto Urbaneja and had the opportunity to engage directly with local tomato producers.
Together, they visited a tomato growers’ cooperative, where Emilio presented the key results and advancements achieved by the ASTER project. The visit was a valuable moment to share scientific findings, exchange practical insights, and strengthen collaboration with stakeholders in the agricultural sector.
This initiative reinforces the project’s commitment to connecting research with real-world agricultural practices and supporting sustainable crop protection across Europe.
